Property Technology

We engineered the white-label platform behind property portals serving 45 million users across France, Germany and Belgium, on serverless AWS with React micro frontends.

Real estate portal development at 45 million user scale

Our proptech track record is one engagement, and it is a deep one. We are a multi-year engineering partner to a leading European real estate group, building the white-label platform behind its property portals in France, Germany and Belgium. Those portals serve 45 million users.

We joined during the group's large-scale platform consolidation: replacing per-brand stacks with a single white-label product framework that could be deployed and customised per market. The platform cut cloud infrastructure, maintenance and staffing costs while increasing the rate of new feature delivery. The full story is in the case study.

We would rather show one platform operating at this scale than a portfolio of short proptech projects. If you run listing portals, agent tooling or property marketplaces, this is the depth of work you are buying.

Micro frontend architecture for a white label property platform

The core problem in white-label real estate is serving many brands from one codebase without brands blocking each other. Two decisions carried most of the weight.

On the frontend, React micro frontends with module federation. Independent teams build and deploy features across brands without a shared release train, while shared components keep performance and UX consistent. A dedicated frontend gateway manages micro frontend deployments per portal.

On the backend, serverless-first AWS. Services run on Fargate and Lambda, written in Nest.js, Node.js and TypeScript against PostgreSQL. They ingest data from queues, APIs and data stores and expose it uniformly to every branded portal, so adding a brand does not mean adding a stack. Terraform provisions all infrastructure and networking as code; DataDog provides end-to-end observability with dashboards, alerts and custom business metrics; CircleCI and Cypress cover delivery and end-to-end testing.

Property listing platform engineering, payments and agent tooling

Delivering the initial white-label portals validated the client's platform strategy and expanded our remit well past listing pages. The engagement now covers payments integration, phone and SMS communication platforms, property listing services, agent tooling, and the frontend gateway that governs micro frontend deployments across brands.

That expansion is the practical proof point. Portals are the visible surface of a proptech business; the revenue and retention live in transactions, agent workflows and communication. We build across all of it on the same platform.

Proptech software development capabilities that transfer

The specifics above generalise into capabilities you can apply directly:

Multi-tenant white-label architecture

Shared services and module-federated frontends serving many brands from one codebase, with per-brand deployment independence.

Cloud cost control at scale

Serverless-first AWS, infrastructure as code and observability tuned to business metrics. We are an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner.

AI-native delivery

Listing enrichment, deduplication and agent-facing automation built with evals and monitoring, on top of your existing platform.

Data platforms for property inventory

Pipelines that ingest listings from queues, APIs and partner feeds and expose them consistently to every portal.

Frequently asked questions

The questions engineering leaders ask first.

Clear answers before a discovery call.

Have you built real estate portals before?

Yes. We are a long-term engineering partner to a leading European real estate group, building the white-label platform behind property portals in France, Germany and Belgium that serve 45 million users. The engagement started with backend services and micro frontends and expanded into payments, communications, listing services and agent tooling.

What is a white-label property platform?

It is a single product framework that powers multiple branded portals from shared services and shared frontend infrastructure. Each brand keeps its own identity and market positioning while listings, search, payments and communications run on one codebase and one cloud footprint. The operator gets faster rollouts and lower cloud, maintenance and staffing costs than running separate stacks per brand.

How do micro frontends help a portal operating in multiple countries?

Micro frontends with module federation let independent teams build and deploy features for different brands and markets without coordinating releases through a single monolithic frontend. Shared components keep performance and user experience consistent, while each country portal can ship its own features on its own schedule. A frontend gateway manages which micro frontend versions each portal serves.

Can you add AI features to an existing proptech product?

Yes. We build AI-native features on top of existing platforms rather than requiring a rewrite, for example listing enrichment, deduplication and agent-facing automation. Our AI work ships with evals and monitoring so quality is measured before and after release, and it runs on the same AWS infrastructure patterns we use for the core platform.

Got something hard to ship?

Bidders, multiplayer infra, agentic platforms, or all three, tell us what you're building.
