As a Technical Producer on the Data Foundations (DF) Business Operations Team, you’ll help ensure things run smoothly by bringing structure, momentum, and follow-through to the team’s operating rhythms and cross-cutting priorities. You’ll report to the Manager, DF Business Operations, and partner closely with the leadership teams across the business.
The successful candidate in this role will be someone who navigates technical spaces with ease, brings sharp operational acumen, moves quickly, communicates clearly, and is exceptionally organized.
Please note, availability to attend afternoon/evening meetings is a requirement for this role as most of the team is located on the US West Coast (LA and Seattle)
Responsibilities
Own the work system for the Data Foundations portfolio: Drive execution, reporting, and visibility for high-priority initiatives within the 2026 portfolio, ensuring timely delivery against end-of-year commitments. Support planning (priorities, resourcing & budget) for 2027
Flex into Cross–Data Organizational Support: Facilitate rituals and accountability where DF plays a central role (e.g., Central Tech Data Governance tracking, Data Community of Practice), and support the needs of other data teams across the business when needed

Establish Data Foundations financial operating rhythm: Establish and maintain the reporting and forecasting system — reconciled with the Finance team — that provides leadership with a real-time view of remaining budget, projected spend against committed contracts, and available levers to adjust course.
Drive completion of Internal rituals. Ensure content for All Hands Meeting, sprint reviews, onsites, and leadership forums are well-prepared, produce clear outcomes, and are followed through with disciplined post-meeting hygiene
Vendor management: Drive Quarterly Business Review actions to closure, track vendor performance against commitments, support contract renewals, and continuously improve how DF manages its vendor portfolio
Manage and drive emerging priorities:. Step into ambiguous, high-leverage problems as they arise, bringing structure, momentum, and follow-through wherever the organization needs it most
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years in technical production, operations management, or a closely related role
- Experience running organizational operating rhythms (financial, resource, or vendor management)
- Track record operating across time horizons — long-term planning and near-term execution
- Ability to navigate technical conversations with engineers, ask thoughtful questions, and clearly communicate risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs
- Experience in a large, distributed organization with cross-organizational dependencies
- Experience with Agile and tooling such as Jira, with an outcome and milestone-based tracking mindset
- Fluency in English, it’s our daily business language
Nice To Have
- Familiarity with data platform tooling (e.g., Databricks, ingestion frameworks)
- Experience supporting teams building software for internal users
